PROPEL SOCCER ACaDEMY
Sports provide a unique opportunity for children and adults to come together in a community outside of their own geographical community. Sports also enhance physical, emotional and social growth.
They also have the potential to open up doors for new opportunities that might not have been possible otherwise.
HOW WE CAN HELP
student involvement
Propel Soccer Academy includes 4 teams made up of 62 children from the Luuka District. The teams are made of children from 12 to 17 years of age, and compete several times per month. We also train several children under 9 until they can join the under 12 team. There are no teams for the younger kids.
The students must remain in school to be eligible to play on our teams.
As a result of playing with Propel Soccer Academy, the following students have tried out and have moved on to play for their respective teams.

3 girls on half bursaries

Bursary - an offer to study free of charge because of extraordinary talent (Scholarship)

In 2023, Propel Foundation started the first girl’s team. Many girls have joined and are enjoying the opportunity to practice and compete.
