HOW WE CAN HELP

There is no simple answer to the education crisis in Uganda. We believe that targeting a few key aspects can play a significant long-term role in providing opportunities for the children of Uganda.

Propel Foundation focuses on training for teachers, providing access to clean drinking water, and funding essential resources for students and teachers.

TRAINING

Our full-time staff member, Pennie, is dedicated to meeting and collaborating one-on-one weekly with the classroom teachers. She also leads weekly workshops to help teachers create curriculum materials.

Frequently, teams of teachers from the US will visit and collaborate with Ugandan teachers.

cLEAN WATER

Without accessible water, our teachers found that students were dehydrated and therefore unable to focus, stay awake, or even make it to school some days. We helped provide funding for boreholes to be constructed at each school.
