2013
Mickey visits Uganda as part of a bicycle expedition as a volunteer for another foundation.
2014
Moved by what he saw in Uganda, Mickey mobilizes resources and starts Propel Foundation


2016
A team of volunteer US teachers shared and collaborated with local Ugandan teachers about teaching strategies to enhance local curricula.
2018
Volunteer medical teams visit Uganda to assist full-time local medical facilitator in diagnosing and treating common illnesses in the school children.


2018
The medical team discovered that dehydration was a major concern. This contributed to difficulties focusing and excelling in school. As a result, we began funding boreholes to be dug at each school.
2020
With large support from our Ugandan staff, Propel Foundation was able to fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic by installing handwashing stations and providing face masks and no-touch thermometers.


2022
Regrouping from the Pandemic, the Propel Foundation staff helped relaunch and grow each of our programs.
